Volunteer Spotlight - Comcast

For the past two years, local volunteers from Comcast have brightened the halls of St. David’s Center.

As part of Comcast Cares Day, more than 1,400 local Comcast employees and their families and friends volunteered at 50 Twin Cities nonprofit sites, including St. David’s Center. At the same time, a total of more than 55,000 Comcast volunteers participated in this annual day of service across the country – making it one of the largest single days of corporate volunteer efforts in the U.S.

The Comcast volunteers thoroughly painted the rooms and hallways at St. David’s Center, creating a more welcoming and calming environment for clients and students. The company also graciously purchased the paint and supplies.
